CRM & customer data

A campaign should leave more than a list of players

Give campaign participation a useful next step. Explore customer rewards, continuing communication and staff engagement through Coca-Cola, Highlands and Pfizer examples.

A good campaign gives people a reason to take part. A valuable continuing programme also gives the business a sensible way to respond when the activity ends.

That response might be product information the customer asked for, feedback after a sample, a reward they can find again or help from a service team. It should be part of the campaign idea from the beginning, rather than a separate list exported after launch.

Begin with the relationship you want to build

Define who is taking part and what makes the interaction worthwhile for them. An event visitor, a product owner and an outlet operator have different reasons to participate. The same game mechanic can serve very different programmes.

Then decide what information is genuinely needed for the next step. An anonymous activity can still be a successful brand experience. A continuing customer journey needs an appropriate way to recognise the person and use the relevant information according to their choices.

A short campaign does not need to become a full customer-platform implementation. It does need a deliberate decision about whether the relationship continues and what the business is ready to do with it.

What the campaign examples show

Coca-Cola Break Uplift connected a voice-based challenge with points and a reward journey. The participant could play, earn points and return to saved rewards. The interaction had a reason to continue beyond the game’s final screen.

Coke Tết was a separate experience built around shared answers and personal New Year greetings. Its purpose and activity measures belong to that programme. Treating the two campaigns as one result would lose the idea behind each experience.

The Highlands Coffee programme linked receipt-code entry, Mini App participation and a digital gift wallet. In a different setting, Pfizer Vietnam’s employee event combined game play, quiz questions and a leaderboard. The latter was an internal participation experience, with a different audience and purpose from consumer acquisition.

These examples help choose the journey. They do not mean every campaign needs the same platform, data collection or commercial objective.

Give the response somewhere useful to go

The game handles the interaction. Reward rules determine qualification and entitlement. PangoCDP can connect relevant participation with customer profiles, audiences and dynamic follow-up, through the selected data and channel connections.

Twin CRM or another operating system can give a person responsibility for a sales or service response. A customised component may be useful when the branded interaction or surrounding workflow needs more than an available product supports.

Keep the continuing journey relevant

A new purchase, a changed preference or a resolved service issue can make the planned follow-up inappropriate. Define the audience exclusions and the conditions that change or stop the next action.

In a configured PangoCDP programme, a visual flow can arrange supported triggers, conditions, waiting steps and actions. The useful work is deciding which event should cause each transition and verifying that the necessary information reaches the flow.

For a standalone event, the right ending may simply be the reward, recognition or information promised. Collecting additional customer information has little value when there is no appropriate purpose or team ready to use it.

Judge what happens after participation

Track whether people can enter and complete the experience, then follow the outcome the programme was designed to support. A reward claim, fulfilled sample, answered service question and confirmed order are separate results.

Review repeated activity and unresolved handovers as well as the headline count of players. The journey measurement guide explains how to connect those records without overstating the result.

Twin brings branded experiences, customer-platform knowledge and integration into the same discussion. Bring the audience and the useful next step; we can help shape a campaign that the business is ready to continue.
