PangoCDP customer story
Highlands Coffee: turn a store purchase into a continuing digital connection.
Highlands Coffee connected receipt-code entry, a short Mini App interaction and a digital gift wallet with PangoCDP, giving customers a clear route from a purchase to a usable offer.
About the client
A large coffee chain turning store visits into digital relationships
Founded in 1999, Highlands Coffee has become one of Vietnam’s best-known coffee chains. Zalo’s March 2025 customer account describes a network of more than 750 stores nationwide, giving the brand a substantial physical presence and a large audience to serve after each visit.
The receipt-code and voucher programme connected that store footprint with a digital customer channel. PangoCDP supported the customer data behind the journey, while the Mini App made participation and rewards accessible within Zalo.

The customer opportunity
Keep the connection after the customer leaves the store.
A store visit gives a brand a useful moment to invite a further interaction. The journey needs a clear entry point, an understandable benefit and a convenient way to find that benefit later.
Highlands Coffee’s published PangoCDP example joined those steps around a receipt code. The initial collaboration began in July 2023, using Zalo’s Mini App and messaging environment to continue the relationship beyond the purchase.
The receipt-to-reward journey
Make entry, participation and reward easy to follow.
After a drink purchase, customers received a receipt containing a participation code. A QR code on promotional material opened the Highlands Mini App, where the customer entered that code and completed a short interaction.
The campaign sent an offer through Highlands Coffee’s Zalo Official Account and stored vouchers in a gift wallet. Customers could return to their benefits within Zalo, keeping the reward accessible after the initial interaction.

Programme value
A store purchase became a continuing digital connection.
The receipt code established campaign entry, the game invited participation and the wallet kept rewards accessible after the first interaction. Together, those steps gave Highlands a useful way to continue customer communication beyond the store visit.
Zalo’s March 2025 account reports the following channel result for the later “100% Thắng Maldives” campaign. It continued the receipt-to-reward approach first used in July 2023.
