The purpose · Employee participation

Give staff an active part in the event.

Pfizer Vietnam’s internal event used a short game to invite employees to take part. Players earned points through an action-based slicing mechanic, while selected interactions opened quiz questions.

Questions could award extra points or allow play to continue. The experience ran on Zalo, with a leaderboard supporting event competition.

The activity gave staff something to do and questions to answer within the event. Scoring, recognition and rewards formed part of the participation experience.

Planning an employee programme

Match the interaction to the event’s purpose.

A staff session has a different audience and purpose from a consumer promotion. This experience used the pace of a game and the content of a quiz to encourage participation within an internal event.

For a similar programme, the starting point is the event content, the people taking part and how the host wants to recognise their participation.
