Device connection
Bluetooth synchronisation
Compatible OMRON devices, including blood-pressure monitors and body-composition analysers, could synchronise measurements into the mobile experience.
OMRON Singapore · Connected health
Twin developed the original mobile experience and Patient Data Platform for OMRON Singapore, connecting compatible health devices with measurement history, user profiles and engagement features.

About OMRON Healthcare
OMRON Healthcare develops devices and services for home health monitoring. Its first branded blood pressure monitor was launched in 1973. In September 2025, the company announced cumulative worldwide sales of more than 400 million blood pressure monitors.
That history gives the project its context: a device reading needed to remain useful after it left the monitor. Twin’s engagement for OMRON Singapore brought device synchronisation, a mobile experience and a central Patient Data Platform together.
Worldwide company figures provide the client context. Twin’s original engagement was for OMRON Singapore; OMRON has continued to develop the product.
Customer challenge
OMRON Singapore wanted the value of its connected devices to continue after the measurement was taken. That meant bringing readings from compatible devices into a consistent mobile experience and a central data foundation that could retain the relationship between user, device and history.
Measurements needed to remain linked to the correct account, device and time. The mobile application also needed to synchronise readings and make earlier results available to the user.
Twin delivered the original Patient Data Platform and OMRON Connect mobile experience, connecting device synchronisation, user history, profile and engagement functions in one programme.
What Twin delivered
Device connection
Compatible OMRON devices, including blood-pressure monitors and body-composition analysers, could synchronise measurements into the mobile experience.
Mobile experience
The application lets users return to earlier measurements and compare trends.
Data foundation
The Patient Data Platform kept account, device and measurement records together for the connected services.
Sharing
The published solution included sharing functions that made it easier for users to pass selected information through familiar communication channels.
Engagement
The programme also included engagement and rewards features designed to keep the mobile experience useful between individual measurements.
Platform evolution
OMRON owns the product and has continued to evolve it. Twin’s customer story represents the original platform and mobile engineering engagement.
The original delivery
A connected product needs more than a mobile chart. The device, account and measurement must remain associated as readings move into the application and the central platform.
The delivery model above summarises Twin’s original platform and mobile engagement. OMRON owns the product and its subsequent development.

How far the product has grown
OMRON Connect remains available on iOS and Android. The public store figures below describe the wider product after OMRON’s continued development, separate from the scale of Twin’s original engagement.
Store listings checked 26 October 2026. Downloads are a public store band; the rating relates to the Singapore storefront. OMRON owns and continues to evolve the product.
Twin’s original delivery connected compatible devices, the mobile experience and a Patient Data Platform, keeping readings linked to the user’s account and history.
Project value
Bluetooth device integration connected a home measurement with the mobile app and its history. The Patient Data Platform gave the programme a foundation for retaining and using those records as part of a continuing customer relationship.
The practical value was a joined device, mobile and data experience: users could return to earlier readings and follow trends over time. The public product’s later adoption figures are shown separately from the original delivery scope.
