Turning a vaccination visit into a continuing digital service

Twin developed the VNVC mobile application around a simple idea: the customer relationship should not begin at the booking screen and end when the visit is over. The product connects information, family profiles, appointments, transactions, vaccination history and future-dose reminders in one continuing service.

The operating problem

Make one mobile service useful before the visit, at the visit and long after it

For customers managing vaccinations for themselves and family members, the journey involves much more than choosing an appointment. Information, schedules, transactions, records and reminders can stretch across many visits and multiple people.

The service had to remain useful beyond booking. Customers needed access to vaccine information and availability, personal schedules, reminders, transaction activity, vaccination history and relevant health resources from one account-based experience.

Twin translated that service journey into a dedicated mobile product designed around the customer’s continuing relationship with VNVC.

Delivered scope

Design the product around the full customer journey

Discover

Vaccine information

Customers can access information about vaccines, availability, descriptions and pricing through the application.

Plan

Family profiles and schedules

Profiles help customers organise vaccination information for family members and keep upcoming schedules visible.

Book

Appointments and payments

The mobile journey supports appointment booking and transaction functions without forcing the user into disconnected channels.

Remember

History and reminders

Vaccination records and future-dose reminders keep the application relevant after an individual visit.

Inform

Health resources and updates

VNVC can publish useful service and health information through the same digital relationship.

Operate

Designed for scale

The product was built as a customer-facing service channel for a large vaccination network rather than a one-off booking form.

Adoption at consumer scale

A service that reached a substantial consumer audience

The bigger idea behind the app

Instead of splitting booking, records and reminders into isolated touchpoints, VNVC gained one mobile service that can remain useful throughout the vaccination lifecycle. That continuity is what turns an app from a transaction tool into an ongoing customer channel.

The design lesson is simple but important: recurring healthcare services create value between appointments as well as during them. Family profiles, history and reminders give the digital service memory. When those functions live together, the application can support preparation for the next visit instead of asking the customer to start again each time.
