Device connection
Bluetooth synchronisation
Compatible OMRON devices, including blood-pressure monitors and body-composition analysers, could synchronise measurements into the mobile experience.
OMRON Singapore · Connected health
Twin engineered the original connected experience linking compatible OMRON devices, a mobile application and a central Patient Data Platform—so a measurement could move beyond the device and become part of a useful, continuous user history.

Customer challenge
OMRON Singapore wanted the value of its connected devices to continue after the measurement was taken. That meant bringing readings from compatible devices into a consistent mobile experience and a central data foundation that could retain the relationship between user, device and history.
Simply showing a reading on a phone would not create a connected-health product. Measurements had to remain associated with the right account and history, synchronisation had to feel natural, and the mobile experience needed to turn repeated readings into something users could revisit and understand over time.
Twin delivered the original Patient Data Platform and OMRON Health Connect mobile experience, connecting device synchronisation, user history, profile and engagement functions in one programme.
What Twin delivered
Device connection
Compatible OMRON devices, including blood-pressure monitors and body-composition analysers, could synchronise measurements into the mobile experience.
Mobile experience
The application gives users a practical view of recorded measurements and trends rather than leaving each reading isolated on the device.
Data foundation
A central data layer brought account, device and measurement context together so connected services could work from a consistent foundation.
Sharing
The published solution included sharing functions that made it easier for users to pass selected information through familiar communication channels.
Engagement
The programme also included engagement and rewards features designed to keep the mobile experience useful between individual measurements.
Platform evolution
OMRON owns the product and has continued to evolve it. Twin’s customer story represents the original platform and mobile engineering engagement.

How far the product has grown
Today’s public app-store footprint shows how far OMRON Connect has grown as OMRON continued to evolve the product beyond the original Twin engagement.
App-store figures shown are current to 19 July 2026. OMRON owns the product and has continued to evolve it since Twin’s original platform and mobile engineering engagement.
OMRON shows the value of engineering the whole connected journey. The device, mobile experience and central data platform each solve a different part of the problem; the real product value appears when they work together as one coherent service.
A useful connected-health architecture therefore has to preserve context as data moves. The measurement is not meaningful on its own: it needs the right user, device relationship, time history and application experience around it. That is what turns device connectivity into a product people can return to rather than a one-off synchronisation feature.
